Emma Armstrong

Digital Project Manager (currently on maternity leave)
Creative collaborator

With 10 years of project management experience under her belt, you know you're in good hands with Emma on your team!

Starting out in heritage, Emma has worked on multi-million pound transformation projects that have benefited places enjoyed by thousands each year. Building welcome centres, creating new exhibition galleries, or thinking of fundraising initiatives she has turned her hand to a lot.

Emma knows first hand what it is like to work within different disciplines, large teams and funders. Being partner side for years means she has been in your shoes before and can help support and guide you.

Emma moved into digital in 2020. With her Fine Art degree, she has an eye for design and worked on branding, UI/UX projects, website design and SEO before joining The Developer Society in 2023.

Passionate about working with partners who are trying to achieve great things for the world, Emma loves the variety of partners that we get to work with at The Developer Society. Emma has project managed projects with The Refugee Council, The Charles Darwin Foundation, Oxfam, and many more. Could you be next?

Emma loves to travel and explore the world, watch live music and having lots of fun with her partner and friends. When she is at home you can probably find her chilling out with a book in an independent coffee shop with her lovely dog, Lola and new baby daughter, Poppy.

Favourite projects

The words "Refugee Council," roughly rendered, within a slanted angle.

The Refugee Council

Working with the fantastic team at the Refugee Council was an incredible experience and we delivered such a beautiful, engaging, helpful website to support users and generate income for the charity.

Charles Darwin Foundation

We needed to deliver a website that brought the new brand to life, showcased CDF's important work, and encouraged visitors to donate...and boy did we deliver!

Emma's co-working buddy

If you're ever on a work call with Emma, it's likely that Lola will be chilling in her bed by her side. If you want to meet her on one of your calls, you only need to ask.
