The Syria Campaign

Hundreds of thousands of Syrians are detained or disappeared, the majority of them at the hands of the Syrian regime. For Families for Freedom, they are their peaceful sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives. Families for Freedom stand against enforced disappearance and arbitrary detention by the Syrian regime and all parties to the conflict. To make their campaign reach more people though, they needed to have a strong public identity people could relate to.

To help with this, we worked to produce a beautiful organisational design including colours, fonts and a logo designed with the key considerations that it work in both Arabic and English, and communicate the organic, people powered nature of this campaign. The result was a visually striking identity combining key elements of the organisation’s culture with the outline of Syria in our final design.
